Ever carried your laundry down, only to find every machine taken?
SpinStat shows which washers and dryers are free on every floor, on residents’ phones, before anyone picks up a basket. A sticker on each machine is all it takes: no wiring, no new machines, no app to download.
Three steps, no installation.
Residents already check the time left on the machine. SpinStat lets them share it with the rest of the building.
-
A sticker goes on every machine
Each washer and dryer gets its own code. A poster in the lobby and each laundry room opens the whole building.
-
Residents scan when they start a load
They pick the minutes shown on the machine. No account, no download, about five seconds.
-
Everyone sees what’s free, floor by floor
Machines count down live and show when a cycle has just finished, so nobody walks to a full room.
For the people who run the building.
Fewer laundry complaints at the front desk, and a clear picture of how the rooms are used.
Works with the machines you have
Coin, card or free, any brand, owned or leased. Nothing to wire, plug in or replace.
Broken machines reach you
Residents report a problem in two taps. You mark the machine out of order with a note, and everyone sees it.
See how the rooms are used
Busiest hours, loads per machine, and how many loads residents log, for each building.
Private by design
No resident accounts. SpinStat stores machine status and times, never names, emails or phone numbers.
Questions landlords ask.
Do residents need to download an app?
No. The code opens a web page on any phone. Residents can add it to their home screen to check the laundry rooms in one tap.
What if someone doesn’t scan?
Anyone standing at a machine can mark it as running or free, so a missed scan gets corrected by the next person who sees it. Your usage report shows how many loads are being logged, so you can see how well it’s working.
Does it work with coin or card machines?
Yes. SpinStat doesn’t connect to the machines, so it works the same with coins, cards, free laundry and any brand.
What does a trial involve?
We set up your building’s laundry rooms and machines, and give you the poster and stickers to print. After two weeks, your usage report shows how many loads residents logged.
What information do you keep?
Which machine was started or reported, when, and for how many minutes. Problem reports go only to the building’s manager. Nothing identifies a resident.
Try it in one building first.
Tell us about your laundry rooms, and we’ll set up a trial.
